Copenhagen Youth Network

Copenhagen Youth Network (CYN) is a Danish youth organisation supporting young people from diverse ethnic, social and economic backgrounds through intercultural, recreational and non-formal educational activities. The organisation has extensive experience in Erasmus+ cooperation, youth mobility, project management, social inclusion and community engagement. Its team brings expertise in youth work, organisational development, communication, group processes and intercultural learning. CYN cooperates with NGOs, educational institutions, public bodies and European networks, giving it strong access to young people, educators and community stakeholders. Its work is guided by inclusion, solidarity, intercultural understanding, active participation and the creation of meaningful opportunities for young people, including those facing social or economic barriers.

CYN designs and delivers youth projects, mobility activities, seminars, workshops and educational programmes addressing social and European challenges. Its main areas include social inclusion, mental health awareness, critical thinking, media literacy, digital competences, radicalisation prevention, environmental awareness and eco-entrepreneurship. The organisation uses sport, intercultural dialogue, gamification, community projects and non-formal education to engage NEETs, refugees, migrants and other young people with fewer opportunities. CYN develops inclusive educational content and adapts digital materials to the needs of diverse learners. It also conducts research, testing and expert reviews and disseminates project results at local, national and international levels through its broad network of partners and community stakeholders.

In the PageTurners project, Copenhagen Youth Network helps ensure that the project’s methods and resources are inclusive, culturally responsive and relevant to diverse young people. CYN contributes to the Good Practice Booklet and prepares the structure and content plan for the training materials. Its experience in non-formal education, digital literacy and work with marginalised communities supports the development of accessible resources connecting traditional and digital reading. CYN leads exploitation and dissemination activities, prepares and updates the dissemination plan and uses its international network to maximise the visibility and uptake of project results. It also supports testing, feedback collection and adaptation of outputs for different social and cultural contexts, helping the partnership reach youth workers, educators, NGOs and young people across Europe.
