Youth Workshop at Krakowska 13 in Tarnów: Exploring Reading in the Digital Age 📚💻

On 7 May 2026, ORNAMENT organised a PageTurners workshop for 21 young people at Krakowska 13 in Tarnów.

During the session, participants explored how printed books and digital materials can complement each other in education and everyday life. They reflected on their reading habits, discussed concentration and digital distractions, and considered how the format of a text can influence understanding and engagement.

Interactive activities helped the group practise reading comprehension, critical thinking and the conscious evaluation of online information. Participants also discussed how to recognise reliable sources and use digital tools in ways that support learning.

The workshop introduced methods connected with the PageTurners Booklet of Good Practices, the PageTurners Training Course and the PageTurners e-learning platform. These project results provide practical activities for young people, educators and youth workers who want to combine printed and digital reading in an engaging way.

Thank you to all participants for your energy, curiosity and active involvement! 🌟
