Youth Workshop at Primary School No. 1 in Skrzyszów: Printed and Digital Reading 📚💻

On 13 April 2026, we organised a PageTurners workshop for 59 young people at Primary School No. 1 in Skrzyszów.

During the session, participants explored how printed books and digital materials can complement each other in education and everyday life. We discussed reading habits, concentration, digital distractions and the challenges connected with navigating large amounts of online information.

Young people compared reading on paper with reading on a screen and considered how both formats can be used consciously and effectively. Through interactive activities, they developed reading comprehension, critical thinking and the ability to assess the reliability of information.

The workshop also introduced activities inspired by the PageTurners Training Course and the PageTurners Booklet of Good Practices. These project results provide practical methods for making reading more engaging, participatory and relevant to young people’s everyday experiences.

Thank you to all participants for your energy, curiosity and active involvement! 🌟
