On 15 May 2026, the Public Library in Szynwałd welcomed 111 participants to a PageTurners multiplier event.
The event provided an opportunity to present the project’s objectives, activities and educational results to the wider local community. We discussed how the reading habits of young people are changing and why maintaining a balance between printed and digital content is increasingly important.
Participants learned about the PageTurners Booklet of Good Practices, the PageTurners Training Course and the PageTurners e-learning platform. These results provide practical support for schools, libraries, educators and community organisations interested in promoting reading, digital literacy and critical thinking.
The event also highlighted the important role of libraries as accessible spaces for education, culture, dialogue and intergenerational learning. Participants had the opportunity to discover project materials, exchange ideas and discuss how they could be used in future local activities.
